My first sewing order- albeit simple- is complete!!
A few months ago a co-worker came to me requesting a custom gift for her sister-in-law who is getting married this fall. She had the idea for a tote that was designed based on the wedding's theme: black and white damask with purple accents. The idea was that the B2B would use it on her honeymoon.
The hardest part of this project was finding the perfect damask & purple home decor-weight fabrics. After those details were nailed down it was onto finding a pattern. And thanks to my mommy friends who introduced me to Sew, Mama Sewfinding the perfect tutorial was a snap. So there you have it, my friends!

scouring the web for creative ways to display what would otherwise be tucked away.
Found this in a simple google search at coolmaterial & the boyfriend says

a ten minute walk from my work.

While I couldn't have asked for a better "landing pad" living with Jade & Stacy,
it's time to start this new chapter with a clean slate & my own space.

Sew Mama Sew Strikes Again! This is most definitely a bookmark-worthy page!
A lot of these projects have me excited but I'm most looking forward to making "softies"--
otherwise known as "plushies". I have a pattern drafted to make whale plushies & I'm looking forward to the day I get to make my first couple I've already named "Willard" & "Wilma".
